Services Provided

As licensed clinical psychologists, Drs. Arbus and Weidenfelder provide a wide range of psychological services. All services are offered in a confidential and welcoming environment with every effort made to ensure you receive the best care. Services include:

• Child, adolescent, adult, family, and couples therapy
• Assessment, treatment and consultation services
• Psychoeducational / psychodiagnostic assessments

Treatment for

Drs. Arbus and Weidenfelder have considerable experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. Dr. Arbus and Dr. Weidenfelder work primarily from cognitive-behavioural, family centered, emotion focused, and psychodynamic theoretical orientations.

• Depression and anger
• Parenting and school problems
• Addictions and substance abuse
• Stress management and relaxation
• Parent-child relationships and conflict
• Postpartum stress, anxiety, and depression

Referrals

Referrals are accepted from individual clients (self-referral) as well as physicians, insurers, allied health care professionals (e.g.
social workers, chiropractors), school personnel, and others.

Costs

All fees for therapy, assessment, and consultation services are based on the recommended guidelines of the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA).

Psychological services are not currently covered by OHIP. However, many insurance plans provide some coverage, as do many
benefit packages provided by employers.
